MY CUTE KIDS.....

I had these matching t-shirts made before Tinley was born and now they can finally wear them. Broxton actually got to wear his the day after Tinley was born... he wore it to the hospital. I am just in love with these two little ones and I am so glad that they are mine.

*Broxton wouldn't let me take a picture by himself with his shirt so we only got one on Tinley alone.

THE MONTH OF MAY...

May was such a great month. We had so many fun things happen, the biggest of which is having Tinley join our little family. 3 weeks old now, she is getting so big. Broxton just loves having Tinley around. I cant wait to watch my two little children grow up together and be the best of friends. I love them so much and I am so thankful for them and that I get to be their mom.

BROXTON:
Brox will be 2 1/2 years next week. He is getting so big. He is talking a lot and putting more words into sentences. We can understand him more now but he still babbles tons. Brox can say things like Dad and Momma, Taos, Jace, thanks, please, Toy Story (his favorite movie is Toy Story 2), cool car, hang loose, treat, Cars, school (if you ask him if he wants to go see Nama & Papa he will say Taos. Then he stops and thinks for a minutes and will say Taos school), yes & no.
He knows who is a boy and who is a girl. He knows how to do I love you in sign language and shaka. He loves putting puzzles together and reading books. He loves to play in his room with his toys and listening to music. He got his 1st cd (the soundtrack to the movie RIO) and he jumps around his room dancing & listening to his music. He loves golfing with his dad and playing and sports outside. He loves to help his dad mow the lawn too. He gets out his little lawn mower and goes right along with him.

Below are some of the funny things he says.
Money = basketball
Doe = football
Mouse Ho Ho = Mickey Mouse Christmas movie
pop pop pop = popcorn
Tinee Gorl = Tinley Girl
Ty Ty = Uncle Ty
Roe Roes = dog (Roe Roe is the sound they make when they bark so that is what he calls them. If you ask him if he wants to go over to see Grandma & Grandpa's he will say Roe Roes. He did just learn to say Grandma and Grandpa's dogs names Cash & Bungy(Bunny)
Goosh = move or come on
cool water = cold water
cheese = mac & cheese

TINLEY:
Tin is 3 weeks old. She sleeps great, eats ever 4 hours and hardly ever cries, she just makes grunting noises. She loves her bath and laying on the floor. She is keeping her eyes open a lot more and she will turn towards the sounds of your voice especially Broxtons.

My boys!
Me and my baby girl

Also this month Little Jace turned 1 on May 11th. He had a very fun monkey party and got lots of wonderful things. I cant believe he is a year now. He also started walking which we are so excited for because now he can keep up with Broxton and Uncle Taos.
HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY JACE!

For Memorial Day we went up to see Grandpa Weaver and take him some flowers. Broxton brought him a flag pin wheel. We had to get 2 of them at the store because Brox wanted to keep one and then give on to Grandpa. I love going and seeing my Grandpa. I sure do miss him so much and wish that he were still here to see my little family.

Now its time for summer, warm weather, family BBQ's, 4th of July, and Tyson & Malia's wedding. Brody's brother is getting married in a few weeks and we are so excited to have Malia join the Chaplin family.

She's Here.....

Our little girl, Tinley Lake joined our family Friday May 13, 2011 at 10:42 pm. She came 3 weeks early weighing 6lbs 7oz. I was a work that morning and having major contracts (been having contractions for about 3 weeks) but they weren't close enough to go in. So I tried to ignore them and continue working away. Due to some bleeding about 3-4 weeks ago, the doctor put me on bed rest for half a day. So I was working in the mornings and coming home in the afternoon and resting. As I was preparing to go home for the day and making sure everyone had everything they need from me at work just in case I didnt show up the next week for work, I just had a feeling that I needed to go in that afternoon and get checked. I had just been to the doctor that Monday(5-9-11) and I was 3 1/2 cm and 90%. He told me that he would be so surprised if I made it to my next appointment, a week later. So when I got home from work we headed for the hospital to get checkout. Brody said on the way to Labor and Delivery that afternoon, once we went in we werent go home. I said no way we were having a baby that day and that I would make it to our next appointment. Well, my husband was right.....
Once we arrived at the hospital (4:00 pm), they checked me and I was still 3 1/2 & 90% The nurse stripped some of my membranes and sent me on our way to walk the hospital for an hour to see if that would do anything. After an hour of walking and contracting (it really hurt) at the same time, the nurse checked me again and I was now at a 5 & 95% She looked at me and said... want to have a baby today? No way did I think we were having a baby, but sure enough we were.
They took me to our labor room, got me hooked up to an IV and gave me my epidural (6:00 pm). My contractions we getting pretty bad. My doctor was doing a c-section that evening so he wasn't going to be able to deliver. So the doctor on call for my doctor came in and checked me around 6:30 pm and broke my water. At 9:30 pm I was at an 8 and then at 10:15 I was at a 9. The nurse then said lets do a couple "practice pushes" to get you to that 10 and then she will be here in no time. So we did 1 set of 3 pushes and sure enough I was at a 10. The doctor came in at 10:20 pm and we stared pushing. I pushed for 20 min and our little Tinley arrived.
It was so wonderful. Such a special moment, such a miracle. She looked just like her big brother. They placed my beautiful baby girl on my chest and I remember looking at my husband and he had such a big smile on his face and tiers in his eyes and he leaned down and kissed me and said "she's here!" May 13th was such an amazing day and having our family there was so wonderful too.

Getting ready for the big event...

Broxton loves his little sister. He calls her his "Tinee Gorl" (Tinley Girl) and gives her kisses all the time. The has been such a big help too. He gets her diaper when she needs changed and he gets her blankets and anything she needs.

Going home!
We are home now and everyone is doing great.
Cant wait to watch my two little children grow up and I am so lucky that I get to be their mom.
I love my family so much!

Spring is here...

Winter has passed and now spring is here. I am so excited for spring because that means warm weather, sandals, Easter, beautiful flowers, buds on my trees, yard work, picnics, and little Jace turns 1 in May. This spring is also bringing a new baby girl into our home. Thats right... Broxton is going to be a big brother in about 8 weeks to little Tinley Lake. We are so excited to have her join our family and we cant wait to meet her. Brody is so excited to for a little girl too. He has been getting everything ready. He painted and finished her room (along with the help of Grandpa. Thank you Randy!). Everytime we are at the store Bro always goes to the baby girl clothes and finds a cute dress or outfit for his daughter. He even picked out her coming home dress. Broxton has been such a good helper too. He helped Dad get her room all painted and helped him put together her crib. Below are so fun pics of the few months before Tinley's arrival....

Also this spring Broxton got to go golfing for the first time with his Dad. Since the day Broxton was born all Brody has talked about is how he cant wait to take his boy golfing. Well the day finally came and Broxton loved it. He could have spent the whole day with his Dad hitting balls. I think he is going to be just like his Dad... a little miniature Brody. Below are pictures of the boy's special day.....

2 Years Old!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

My baby boy is finally 2 years old. I cant believe it. He is getting so big way too fast. When 10:01 am rolled around on Dec. 16th I started thinking about all the things he has accomplished this past year. He learned to walk, run and jump. He can throw any ball and loves to play basketball and football with his dad. He learned to say a few things like... Dada, Momma, Taos, Jace, car, cereal, bowl, there it is, Toy Story, whered he go, please (but it sounds like da), room, and blankey. He is quite the gabber monster and you can have a conversation with him but 90% of it you cant understand. When I get home form work everyday he runs to the door go give me a big hug and kiss and then he starts his story telling me everything he did that day. He is very animated and loves to talk. Brox also loves to sing. He especially loves to sing Christmas songs. Well we have had a fun year with our little man. cant wait to see what the terrible twos bring.

I love you Broxton more then you'll ever know and I am so happy I get to be your mom. Your dad and I are so proud of you!

Christmas Time!

Well, Christmas is just around the corner. My favorite time of the year! Our home is all decorated, just about done with Christmas shopping, and the snow has been coming down like crazy here. It is a winter wonderland outside for sure. We took Brox to see Santa this year and he hated every minute of it. He cried and cried. In fact Santa even had to stand behind us so Brox couldn't see him. When we were done with our picture, Santa gave Brox his first candy cane and he loved that.
