I can't believe that my baby boy is 10 months old today the 16th. It is so crazy how much time has passed and yet it seams like yesterday we brought him home from the hospital. Broxton is a ball of energy. He loves to go around saying Dada Dada Dada. We are trying so hard to teach him to say Mama but he just looks at us and says "Dada" with a big grin on his face. He is crawling everywhere. He stands up on his own. He loves to pull him self up on the coffee table and walk around it. Brox loves to get into Dad's X-Box stuff. He loves to be outside, drink from his sippy cup and flick water at people from his sippy cup,and play with all his toys. He just got a new toy in fact. It is a walker thing he can ride on and stand behind to help him learn to walk. So far learning to walk is not his idea of fun. He would much rather sit on the toy and have someone push him around. Broxton has 2 teeth on the bottom and this week got one of his top teeth. His favorite foods are... hot cereal, scrambled eggs, Ham-pineapple dinner, apples-chicken dinner, Hawaiian rolls, all fruit, cheese, mashed potatoes, apple juice & white grape juice, and his snacks (rice snacks and his yogurt snacks). Broxton also loves to get into Mom's drawers in the kitchen. We now have had to baby proof our home, but he still gets a drawer full of Tupperware he can play with.
Only 2 more months and our little man will be 1 years old! Where have these last 10 months gone?

It's FALL...
So it is officially Fall and it is the month of October and that means... it is officially time to get pumpkins! Last week our little family went to the pumpkin patch so Broxton could pick out his very own and his very first pumpkin. It was such a fun night. When we got to the farm we took a little hay ride. The tractor guy dropped us off at the pumpkin patch where we were free to go and find the most perfect pumpkin. When we got off the hay ride and we were let loose. It was so fun watching all these little kids out finding their most perfect pumpkin. Broxton had a good time too, I think, even though he didn't have a clue what was going on. Next year will be even more fun when he can actually walk around and find his own. This year Dad got to help in the picking out of the pumpkins. After we found a pumpkin for Mom and Dad and one little one for Broxton we jumped back on the hay ride to go and have them weighed. Once they were weighed it was time for the corn maze! Brody was so excited because a radio station was there for "media night" and they had put buttons throughout the corn maze to find. If you found a button then you could turn it in for a prize. So after a while in the maze we found 2 buttons. When we turned them in we won a $15 gift certificate to Red Robin and 2 tickets to some fighting match. Brody was so excited! We had a wonderful time at the farm. Can't wait to do our family tradition again next year. Our pumpkins now reside on our front porch until it is time to carve them for Halloween.
